Leading Australian contemporary artist Danie Mellor has donated five limited edition signed prints to The University of Queensland Art Museum, as part of the Art Museum’s touring exhibition, Danie Mellor: Exotic Lies Sacred Ties which has recently concluded at the UQ Art Museum.

Danie has generously directed all proceeds from these sales to UQ Art Museum’s exhibition program.

The exhibition will now tour TarraWarra Museum of Art in Healesville Victoria, and the Museum and Art Gallery of Northern Territory in Darwin.

These museums will each have five of the limited edition signed prints for sale. UQ Art Museum has welcomed more than 13,000 visitors through its doors between January and March 2014. During this time, UQ Art Museum has presented the highly regarded exhibitions The University of Queensland National Artists Self-Portrait Prize 2013, No Place Like Home , an exhibition of the work of four international photographers, and the acclaimed Danie Mellor survey.
