Members of the University of Queensland community have featured in the 2016 Queen’s Birthday Honours List
The roll call of alumni and affiliates on the list includes School of Historical and Philosophical Inquiry Honorary Research Associate Professor and UQ alumnus Dr Dorothy Jane Watts, who was made a Member (AM) in the General Division, for significant service to tertiary education, particularly the study of ancient history, and as an administrator, academic and author.

UQ Alumni honoured as Queensland Greats
Two University of Queensland alumni have been named Queensland Greats for their outstanding achievements in the community.
They are Dame Quentin Bryce AD CVO and John Curro AM MBE.
