This October the UQ Young Alumni Advisory Board held the second annual UQ Young Alumni Ball at Rydges South Bank.
More than 500 of UQ’s newest alumni gathered to dance, share stories and reconnect with their alma mater, part of a network of over 230,000 graduates, and 85,000 Young Alumni. Events like this year’s Young Alumni Ball help build UQ’s worldwide network of recent graduates who are connected globally, and think locally.
Money raised from the exclusive event went toward UQ’s Scholarship Endowment Fund, with over $5000 going toward helping future students manage the burden of fees, books and living expenses. These scholarships make it possible for students to focus on their studies and excel in their chosen course.
The UQ Young Alumni Ball is just one of the many events that help support UQ Young Alumni to make their mark on the world, and we’d love to connect with you online and with other young alumni locally in your area.
