This year, the UQ young alumni program is partnering with TEDxUQ 2021: Connected. We are excited to announce TEDxUQ will be hosting a range of UQ alumni guest speakers including:

  • Luke Furness – Senior Associate at Clayton Utz and a Board Director at Out for Australia
  • Dr Paul Harpur – former Paralympian, Fulbrighter, and practising lawyer
  • Maggie James – music therapist with 18 years of experience in paediatric healthcare

Guests will have the opportunity to hear game-changing ideas and connect with leading researchers, artists, entrepreneurs, and public figures. The day will also offer the chance to witness some of Brisbane's best performing talent, and interact with local organisations at our innovation booths. Come along to join the conversation in a day of ideas, innovation, community, and critical thinking at TEDxUQ 2021: Connected.
