Do you work in health? Are you challenged by the increasing demands on health systems?

Economics can help you plan, manage and deliver health services to meet these challenges.

In this five-day short course, leading experts from the UQ Centre for the Business and Economics of Health will introduce participants to key economic concepts and evaluation methods needed to make more informed and confident decisions in the healthcare industry.

After attending the course, participants will be able to:

  • identify economic aspects of problems in the health and health services sector,
  • address challenges using economic tools, and
  • contribute in meaningful ways to the development of policies by engaging with health services researchers, health policymakers and planners.

Limited places available. The course is taught in a small-group setting (max 16 participants), so participants have the opportunity to ask questions, workshop ideas and gain valuable input on challenges they are facing in their current roles.

Book by Monday 26 April for early bird pricing.
