Combining both online and face-to-face learning, this course draws on thought leadership from The University of Queensland, Australian National University, and Oxford University to explore the impact of climate change on business and society. From evaluating risks and opportunities for your organisation to developing a climate risk management plan to minimise risk exposure, you’ll benefit from a comprehensive and forward-thinking approach.
Begin learning via a series of online modules that can be accessed on-demand. Then, during the two half-day face-to-face workshops, you’ll complete a scenario planning exercise and design a strategic climate action initiative for your organisation using an optimised Business Model Canvas. This initiative is something you can take back to your organisation to implement and expand on after completing the course.
This course is delivered via a blended mode:
Self-paced one full-day equivalent online module: available from 16 Aug to 6 Sept;
Half day face-to-face: 7th September
Half day face-to-face: 14th September
To get the most out of the learning experience, we encourage course participants to complete all online modules and attendance of both in-person sessions.
Cost: $1,353 per person or $1,217.70 per person for 3 or more (incl. GST).
