Have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes at UQ’s medical and research facilities? Join us for this exclusive half day program for alumni in conjunction with the UQ Centre for Clinical Research (CCR) and the School of Dentistry. A complimentary morning tea will be provided.

The UQ Centre for Clinical Research (CCR) at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH) is focused on improving people's lives through patient-orientated research. By 'patient-orientated research' we mean research that is conducted in response to questions that arise at the bedside. This allows us to provide better treatment and results for patients, as well as adding to the body of knowledge about particular diseases or problems. UQCCR offers state-of-the-art facilities and brings together leading health professionals, clinicians and scientists from around the globe.

The School of Dentistry has a long and proud tradition of 81 years in dental education and research, attracting high achieving students nationally and internationally. We invite you to visit the award-winning UQ Oral Health Centre for a tour of our facility including a behind the scenes look at our research lab and pre-clinic.  As part of your visit, we look forward to introducing you to some of our researchers and giving you the chance to watch them at work.
