The UQ Art Museum invites you to join UQ alumni and friends of the University on Friday November 16 for a private tour and reception at the global headquarters in London of Christie’s, the world's oldest fine art auctioneer.

Guests will be given an exclusive preview of the British Impressionism and Modern British Art Auctions. The tour will also feature highlights of the Annual Australian Art Auction, including a number of exceptional and significant Australian artworks.

Following the tour, the UQ Art Museum’s Director, Dr Campbell Gray, will host an ‘in conversation’ panel discussion with Christie’s experts covering the auction process (explaining how it all works), looking at art (including the importance of provenance) top tips for building your own art collection and Christie’s Education.
