Paterson Boyd

Paterson holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise and Sports Science, Majoring in Clinical Exercise Physiology from The University of Queensland. He is also currently in his final semester in a Master’s of Business and Applied Finance. However his true passion lies in his day job. Paterson is the Dean of Students at St Leo’s College within The University of Queensland. This sees him work with university students on a daily basis helping them navigate the ins and outs of everyday uni life. This enthusiasm for the tertiary education industry all started whilst completing his undergraduate degree. Paterson was involved with the National Association of Australian University Colleges (NAAUC) from 2012-2015, and in 2014 he was the National President. Paterson’s previous board experience includes sitting on the Board of Directors for the not-for-profit organisation, Youth Without Borders as well as being a member on the St Leo’s College Council in 2012. Paterson enjoys music and traveling and has also dabbled in small business. In early 2016 he opened a small Espresso bar on Edward Street in the CBD of Brisbane before selling it in late 2017.
