Margarita Camus

Margarita is the Digital Innovation Lead for one of Australia's largest water companies. She is on the advisory board for Women in Digital, Co-Chair of the UQ MBA Social Club and a regular industry guest lecturer and speaker.

Margarita leads the digital innovation portfolio and social media team for Queensland Urban Utilities, one of Australia's largest water companies. She is a regular guest speaker and contributor within the digital, innovation, marketing and technology industries, a university guest lecturer, and is currently undertaking an MBA at The University of Queensland with expected graduation in 2019. She also holds a Bachelor of Business Management with double majors in marketing and human resources from UQ.

Margarita's experience extends across all aspects of digital, specialising in driving digital transformation to create efficiencies and help organisations become more customer-centric. Her work has been recognised and highlighted internationally at the prestigious Webby’s as an honouree, as well as receiving an iAward for innovation. She was also recently named a finalist for Suncorp’s ‘Innovator of The Year’ at the Women in Digital Awards.

Margarita is fluent in English and Spanish and has elementary proficiency in French. She has lived in Australia, Canada and Chile, studied in Finland, and has dual citizenship.
