Eligibility
- The program is designed for people who are entering the workforce for the first time
- You must be in your final semester of study of a UQ degree
- All campuses and study areas are eligible to apply
- You must have demonstrated at least 2 of the 3 Future Leaders qualities while at UQ
- Academic achievement,
- Community impact (whether that be an immediate circle of family and friends or all the way up to the global community),
- Leadership skills.
When you are a UQ Future Leader
There are no nomination fees or ongoing costs.
In your first year as a UQ Future Leader, you will be invited to participate in opportunities to build your personal and professional development.
We highly recommend attending these activities (in-person or virtually) to get the most out of your experience as a UQ Future Leader. You will also receive special discounts and exclusive opportunities as part of the UQ Young Alumni Program, which is supported by fellow young alumni on the UQ Young Alumni Advisory Board.
If you are not yet in your final year of study, but are interested in becoming a UQ Future Leader, please complete an Expression of Interest so we can contact you about joining the program in the future when you’re ready to graduate.
