Australia is one of the greatest places on Earth to see birds. UQ's Professor James Watson has been chasing them since he was a small boy.

But out of the more than 800 different bird species across the nation, more than 200 species are already listed as threatened, and many species are very poorly known.

Professor Watson is now using citizen science data to find which species are the least well-known and need urgent attention. Join us at our first BrisScience for 2024, as he reveals Australia's top 10 least-known birds and the science and conservation efforts being undertaken to save them.
