The Gatton Back to College Weekend will be held from Friday 1 December to Sunday 3 December, hosted by the UQ Gatton Past Students' Association. All past students of the Gatton Campus/Queensland Agricultural College are invited to attend all or any part of the weekend.

A key activity of the weekend is the acknowledgment of “featured anniversary groups” and their year group reunions.

  • Registration desk opens – payments, receipts, room keys, name tags, info, etc.
  • Morning Tea – meet, greet and re-connect with acquaintances
  • Museum open for browsing, raffle and merchandise sales, displays
10am–12pmCampus Bus Tour at regular intervals throughout the day *
10amSchool of Agriculture and Food Sustainability facilities tour, hosted by Professor Vic Galea, Deputy Head of School, School of Agriculture and Food Sustainability, UQ **
11:30amYear group photos on the steps of the Foundation Building
12–1pm

Lunch at the Dining Hall

1pmSchool of Veterinary Science facilities tour, hosted by Professor Nigel Perkins, Head of School, School of Veterinary Science, UQ **
3pmBar opens for pre-dinner drinks outside the Walkway Cafe (EFTPOS available)
3pmAnnual General Meeting, Main Lecture Theatre, Building 8178 (located behind the Foundation Building)
4pmLive music commences outside the Walkway Cafe 
4:!5pmRegistration desk closes and moves to Dining Hall
5:45pmPre-dinner drinks conclude, guests welcome to enter the Dining Hall
6:15pmReunion dinner commences

*All tours depart from and return to the front of Morrison Hall. People going on tours of the Dairy or Veterinary facilities please note that enclosed shoes must be worn. Final tour schedule to be confirmed prior to the event.
