Endometrial cancer

Ovarian Cancer
Did you know that shockingly, the average survival rate for ovarian cancer is 49%. That means less than half of all women diagnosed today will be alive in 5 years. Much of this is due to the majority of women being diagnosed at a late stage. There is no early detect test yet… but we are getting closer.
Professor Carlos Salomon from the UQ Centre for Clinical Research will soon take a world first early detection test for ovarian cancer to a clinical trial.
Breast cancer
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women and the second most common cancer in Australia, with an estimated 20,000 people diagnosed in 2021. The survival rates for breast cancer patients have improved significantly over the past 30 years, however it is still the second leading cause of cancer death in Australia. We have lost too many of our family members and friends to breast cancer and we know we can improve things for our communities, our families and our kids' futures.
Our vision is to have women treated for breast cancer successfully and then live their future lives without fear of recurrence and with as few side-effects as possible.
