Jeromy Moore

If young mechanical engineering students were looking for inspiration, they need look no further than Jeromy Moore, whose role at Porsche Motorsport is one many engineers dream of.

Whilst his role is intensive and demanding, he regularly travels from his base in Germany to race incredible vehicles and test advanced motorsport technology – some of which has been designed by himself and his team.

Prior to his role at Porsche, Moore worked closely with some of Australia’s most successful motorsport professionals including as a race engineer for V8 Supercar drivers Craig Lowndes, Jamie Whincup and Mark Skaife. He also worked closely with Australian Moto GP rider, Casey Stoner in his foray into V8 Supercars and is now the performance engineer for Formula One driver, Mark Webber.

Moore is regarded as one of the sharpest minds in car dynamics and mechanical engineering, with colleagues regularly applauding his free-thinking ability to consistently question even well-established processes.
