Dr Bavahuna Manoharan

Dr Bavahuna Manoharan is the State Clinical Director of the Queensland Vaccine Command Centre & COVID-19 Vaccination Taskforce. In this role he plays a vital leadership role in navigating Queensland’s response to the COVID-19 crisis.

He is also the Clinical Reference Lead & Clinical Governance at the Australian Digital Health Agency, and in this capacity continues to help healthcare digital ecosystems evolve and improve health workflows in our health system.

Dr Manoharan is the current Australian Medical Association Queensland (AMAQ) Vice President and member of the AMAQ Board of Directors where he continues to advocate for doctors working across the public and private sectors as well as the health of the Queensland population.

He is also an Associate Lecturer at the University of Queensland’s Faculty of Medicine.
