UQ Alumni Book Fair bookmark design competition
Submit your imaginative design for the back of our bookmarks. The winning designs will then be professionally printed and distributed throughout the community by the local Council. We encourage you to unleash your creativity and submit your unique designs. The more inventive, the better!
Three designs will be selected for the official UQ Book Fair bookmarks, with the talented young artists receiving a $30 book voucher each to be redeemed at the Book Fair. All designs will also be displayed during the Book Fair and we encourage students and families to attend to see their artwork on display.
Saturday 28 February will be an unmissable day out at the Book Fair with free kids activities, book talks, interactive stations and – new for this year – a kids book parade. There will be prizes up for grabs for children dressed as their favourite book character - don't miss the fun.

Important information:
- Entries close 12 December 2025, and winners will be contacted by Friday 19 Decmber 2025.
- All entries for those aged under 18 years must be submitted by a parent or guardian.
- Make sure you keep your original design in a safe place after submitting as we may need to collect it for a high-resolution scan.
