Husk Distillery lunch, tour and tasting

Learn about the chemistry of rum and enjoy an amazing value day at Husk! Dive deep into the chemistry of rum and enjoy a Rustic Farm Farm buffet lunch at Husk Farm Distillery. Lunch will be accompanied by a fascinating talk from UQ Food Chemistry expert Dr Marlize Bekker, who will share insights into the chemistry behind the floral, fruity, and herbaceous notes of artisanal rums. After lunch, embark on an exclusive tour to discover Husk’s unique farm-to-bottle process and round the day off with a tasting of Husk’s exquisite spirits. Husk Farm Distillery was founded by UQ alum Paul Messenger (Doctor of Philosophy ’97).
