UQ School of Music presents Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro

The University of Queensland School of Music is delighted to present Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's beloved opera, The Marriage of Figaro.
This timeless masterpiece, brimming with wit, charm, and stunning melodies, promises an unforgettable night, showcasing the UQ School of Music's finest vocalists and instrumentalists.
Under the baton of UQ alum Nathan Aspinall and directed by Dr Shaun Brown this new generation of performers will activate the Opera Queensland Studio offering the audience a unique opportunity to experience an opera in an intimate setting, almost being part of the production. Whether you're a seasoned opera lover or a newcomer to the genre, join the clever and resourceful Figaro and his soon to be wife Susanna, as they navigate a day of romantic entanglements, mistaken identities, and class conflicts.
