The University of Queensland is proud to once again explore the world's biggest questions as an innovation partner of the World Science Festival Brisbane. This is one event not to miss as we sell out every year!

Kick-start your weekend with the whole family at an exclusive World Science Festival Brisbane UQ alumni event.

Listen to an exclusive talk on ancient Egyptian mummies with UQ Honorary Research Fellow Dr Serena Love, followed by a private viewing of the exhibition Discovering Ancient Egypt.

This exhibition features stunning 3D light projections of the Temple of Taffeh, ornate sculptures and design, excerpts from sacred ceremonies including rare Book of the Dead scrolls, precious jewellery and collections of artefacts and artwork that transcend time and exemplify the Egyptian’s famed craftsmanship.

Dr Love will be on hand to answer all your questions as you explore the exhibition.
