Arthur is a UQ PhD candidate and runner up and People Choice recipient at the UQ 3 Minute Thesis Final in 2024.

He will share his top strategies for sharpening your public speaking skills, communicating ideas clearly and concisely, and crafting compelling arguments that capture and hold your audience’s attention.

 

Dr Richard O'Quinn
Doctor of Philosophy '20, Master of Business Administration '14

Dr O'Quinn teaches courses on leadership, strategic decision-making, and strategic human resource management in the graduate, MBA, Executive Education, and online education programs in the School of Business.

He will help you gain insight into your own leadership practices and create an action plan to further develop your leadership skills.

Ghassani Swaryandini
Master of Counselling '15, Bachelor of Arts '00

Ghassani is a psychologist specialising in mental health. She is currently pursuing her PhD on enhancing decision-making skills in adolescents through rationality training, particularly in relation to their career choices.

She will cover top tips on how to overcome cognitive biases through rationality training to make better decisions in the workplace.

Amy Walker

Amy is a Health, Safety and Environment Advisor at Stanwell Corporation focussed on educating and enhancing the wellbeing of employees.

She will cover tips on how to effectively recover from work to avoid early career burnout.
