UQ Alumni Book Fair Silent Auction

Discover a treasure trove for collectors and book lovers alike at the UQ Alumni Book Fair Silent Auction. Highlights include beautifully bound Victorian-era Punch Magazine volumes, scholarly works on ancient civilisations such as the Pyramid Texts and Egyptian mythology and expansive reference collections including the Encyclopaedia Britannica and The Great Books of the Western World.
Literature lovers can bid on elegant French classics from the Bibliothèque de la Pléiade and a charming collection of The Collector’s Wodehouse.
With all proceeds supporting UQ student scholarships and research, it’s a rare opportunity to acquire exceptional books while making a meaningful impact.
Bids for one or more lots must be made using the Silent Auction Bidder Form at the UQ Alumni Book Fair.
Absentee bids will not be taken for this silent auction.
The winner of the lot is the person who has submitted the highest bid providing it meets the reserve.
Bids will be accepted up to 7pm on Saturday 28 February 2026.
The winning bidder will be advised via phone or email on Sunday 1 March 2026.
