Quantum Year National Tour public lecture and fireside chat with Professor Donna Strickland
Professor Strickland was awarded the 2018 Nobel Prize in Physics for her ground-breaking work in chirped pulse amplification. This is a rare opportunity to hear from one of the world’s leading physicists and laser pioneers.
Currently a professor at the University of Waterloo, Professor Strickland has made significant contributions to ultrafast laser science. Her Nobel-winning research, conducted during her PhD, revolutionised high-intensity laser applications. She continues to lead innovation in nonlinear optics and laser development.
