About UQ Giving Day
Giving Day is a 24-hour online fundraising challenge where we call on our UQ community to donate to a cause they are passionate about and help us to create impact in the lives of many. UQ Giving Day takes place in October each year. In 2025, more than 2,080 donors came together to support 48 important causes across the University, raising $1.75 million.
UQ Giving Day returns on Wednesday 21 October 2026. On this day, the UQ community will come together once again to support The Queensland Commitment and other important causes across the University.
