This is a unique opportunity for early and mid-career engineering alumni to connect with experienced industry mentors, gain valuable insights, and enhance your career progression.

The event offers an engaging format where you'll be placed in small groups and matched with accomplished industry leaders based on your preferred specialisations and areas of interest as chosen by you upon registration. You'll participate in two 25-minute speed mentoring rotations, where you can have conversations about your career path and seek advice to accelerate your professional growth.

Whether you are looking to explore new opportunities, overcome challenges, or refine your skills, our experienced mentors are eager to share their expertise and support your career development..

Just a few of the many accomplished mentors you’ll have access to will include:

Dr Snezana Bajic, Deputy Chief Inspector Explosives at Resources Safety & Health Queensland

Dr Kym Baker, General Manager, Patheon, by Thermo Fisher Scientific

Brooke Veliscek, Director Infrastructure and Sustainability at the University of Queensland

Following the mentoring sessions, networking drinks and canapes will be provided, where you can continue the conversations, forge new connections, and expand your professional network.

Tickets are $30 (includes drinks and canapes) and spaces are limited, so please RSVP by 5 July to secure your spot. To register and provide your preferences for mentor matching, follow the registration link.

We look forward to welcoming you at the Speed Mentoring Event and facilitating meaningful connections that will propel your engineering career to new heights.
