Friends of Antiquity Sunday Series: Travels in Greece
Join UQ’s Friends of Antiquity at the June Sunday Series event, titled Travels in Greece.
This year, students enrolled in the summer semester course, ANCH2050 Ancient World Study Tour and Field School, had the unique opportunity to embark on a study tour to Greece – an immersive experience offered every 2 years that brings ancient history to life. For many, it was their first time experiencing the iconic artworks, archaeological sites and rich cultural traditions of Greece beyond the classroom.
Hear first-hand from students and staff as they share highlights from the tour, brought to life through captivating images and personal reflections. This enriching experience was made possible in part by bursaries generously funded by the Friends of Antiquity.
Please note, the AGM which usually occurs in June will take place in July, details to follow.
