That was the challenge for Paralympic and Commonwealth Games gold medallist Lakeisha 'Lucky' Patterson OAM in 2020 after the COVID-19 pandemic threw the world into chaos – shutting down training facilities and sensationally postponing the Tokyo Olympics by a year. 

The UQ Bachelor of Communication student chats to The Armchair Fan podcast about keeping fit when all pools were closed, how she adjusted her training schedule for Tokyo, and that amazing feeling of winning a gold model after years of hard work.
