Fryer Library

The Fryer Library, founded in 1927 in honour of John Denis Fryer, is home to many rare and significant cultural and heritage collections. These include Australian literature, Indigenous Australian languages and culture, rare books, architecture, historical objects and photography. These collections connect our students, academics and alumni to the past and project an image of our possible future. They show the pathways we travelled as a nation and how these have shaped our beliefs, attitudes and values today. They are the source for new research and inspiration.

Your gift helps build our collection of rare books, Australian literature and manuscript material and support to our students to enable new research and teaching opportunities and to preserve our cultural heritage.
