IMB Endometriosis Research

Endometriosis is suffered by at least 1 in 10 women, and is responsible for more than 40% of patients attending IVF clinics. Surgery is a short gap measure, not a cure, and unfortunately pain, infertility, incapacitation, and breakdown of relationships are a huge burden to patients, their families and our health systems.  IMB is leading the global race to understand the causes of endometriosis and will be turning its focus to the discovery of effective new treatments for endometriosis and chronic pain. Unfortunately endometriosis awareness is low, and research is underfunded, so community donations are vital to help us find effective treatments.
