One in five Australians lives with chronic pain, impacting their relationships and ability to work. Pain also has a big impact on the economy, costing Australia $34 billion per year, more than the collective cost of treating cancer, stroke and diabetes. Your donation will assist researchers to discover and develop new molecules for treating pain in humans, with a particular focus on pain that is difficult to manage, such as burns, neuropathic, diabetic, chemotherapy and cancer pain.
