Garry graduated from UQ with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and Bachelor of Business Management in the middle of 2019 and has been working as a Structural Engineer at AECOM. Upon graduation, Garry was awarded the UQ Employability Award and accepted into the 2019 Future Leaders program Class.
At work, Garry is highly passionate about structural engineering design and has been involved in several major projects in different sectors such as Resource and Industrial, Public Infrastructure and Metal Ore Mining. Garry strives to find a well-engineered solution to suit clients’ needs while achieving corporate social responsibilities.
Garry has a strong interest in technology and enjoys some great hands-on DIY projects outside of work. In his spare time, Garry also enjoys a range of activities such as hiking, table tennis, water sport, and travel.
