Isabella Sciacca

Isabella is an Economist in Deloitte Access Economics’ Economic Analysis and Policy team and has a passion for sustainability and climate change, having worked on the topic both internationally and in Queensland. Prior to joining Deloitte Access Economics, Isabella worked for Queensland’s State Government and the International Trade Centre, a joint agency of the United Nations and the World Trade Organization in Geneva, Switzerland on the topics of sustainability and decarbonisation. 

Isabella graduated from UQ in 2020 with a Bachelors of Economics (Public Policy) and Commerce (Finance). Upon conferral of her degrees, Isabella was recognised as a Class of 2020 UQ Future Leader and was awarded the UQ Employability Award. Isabella also holds a Sustainability and Climate Risk Certificate from the Global Association of Risk Professionals.

During her studies at UQ, Isabella was an active member of the UQ community, participating in student societies and representing UQ as a Delegate at the United Nations University Scholars Leadership Symposium in Bangkok, Thailand.

In her spare time Isabella's interests include social tennis, reading and travelling.
