Nikita Gurung is the Customer Success Team Lead for the APAC region at EventsAir. She holds a Master's degree in Tourism, Hotel, and Event Management from The University of Queensland (UQ), which she completed in 2018.
Now in her third year on UQ's Young Alumni Board, Nikita has grown from Portfolio Member to Deputy Chair and now to Chair, where she focuses on connecting and supporting the university's young alumni community. Her involvement highlights her passion for enhancing alumni engagement and building a sense of belonging, while strengthening connections between alumni and the broader UQ community.
As the Customer Success Team Lead at EventsAir, Nikita leads with empathy and innovation, improving customer journeys, driving client success strategies, and empowering her team to deliver exceptional experiences. Her earlier role as a Customer Success Specialist helped her sharpen skills in onboarding, training, and relationship building, which now support her leadership in the APAC region.
Her guiding principle, "Empathy is the key to exceptional service," shapes her leadership and approach to building meaningful connections with clients.
Outside of work, Nikita loves puzzles and crosswords, activities that fuel her problem-solving mindset. She's always learning and passionate about connecting with others, making a positive impact both personally and professionally.
