Ms Holly Tattersall is an entrepreneur committed to empowering women in the digital industry. She is the Founder and CEO of Women in Digital and Digital Talent Co.
In 2014, Ms Tattersall established Women in Digital, a purpose driven organisation that supports women working in technology. The program aims to support and inspire women to be strong, confident and skilled and to act as a ‘change agents’ to encourage more female leaders. Today, Women in Digital provides mentoring, training, educational resources and career opportunities for females in the digital industry. What began as a mentoring program, is now a 13,000-strong community which has run events around the world including Silicon Valley in the US and Tel Aviv.
Designed to work in partnership with Women in Digital, in 2016 Ms Tattersall founded Digital Talent Co., a boutique recruitment agency run by digital and business specialists. Digital Talent Co. offers clients an enhanced service, connecting high quality talent with leading employers in the digital space
A key focus for Digital Talent Co. is to work with organisations who have identified a need to diversify their workforce. An example of this is that of Cisco Queensland; where Ms Tattersall worked over a 12-month period to increase their gender diversity from 6% to 37%. She remains committed to this vision as an active supporter of Cisco’s MentorMe program, which aims to raise the profile of careers in IT for female university students.
In 2018, Women in Digital established its annual awards gala, providing an opportunity to celebrate the excellence of women across the industry, acknowledge leading companies and innovators and inspire the next generation of digital leaders.
In recognition of her leadership, Ms Tattersall was the recipient of the 2016 AIM Emerging Leader Award. She was also listed in the 2016 40 under 40 Top Young Entrepreneurs in Brisbane for Business News Australia.
