ChangeMakers - your chance to engage

6 October 2021

If you haven’t yet seen it, I can highly recommend the latest ChangeMakers event on the Science of Positivity that took place this week. You gave me a reason to pause and reflect on the positive things that have happened in recent times.

Association with the ChangeMakers program has been one of those truly positive developments for me. It’s been just over 12 months since we launched the initiative as a new way for alumni to connect and engage. As Chair, I am incredibly proud of how UQ alumni have rallied under the ChangeMakers program: through mentoring, events and global meet-ups, our network of over 310,000 alumni spanning 190 countries have become more connected than ever before.

If you haven’t yet had the chance to join the ChangeMakers movement, I would urge you to have a look at the current offering - from the event series to our volunteering toolkit and our mentoring platform, and to keep an eye out for some exciting further developments we have planned.

In particular, I know the team is currently seeking more mentors to share their knowledge and experience with other UQ alumni across the globe – a great place to start your journey back to UQ.

Come and join us in our mission to become the most connected alumni network in the Indo-Pacific. You can find more below.
