Western Australia Alumni Regional Scholarship for Engineering

Established in 2018 and supported by the wider Western Australia alumni community, this scholarship helps commencing engineering students from regional and remote areas of Australia who face financial disadvantage. Recipients receive $5,000 annually for up to four years while enrolled full-time in an Approved Engineering Program, easing the cost of relocating and studying away from home. We are now seeking to endow this scholarship, ensuring its future in perpetuity and enabling generations of talented young engineers to study at UQ, regardless of background.
