Friends of Antiquity Sunday Series: September (in person)

Join us for the September Sunday Series event where Emeritus Professor Trevor Bryce will reflect on his personal career. The event will be held at The University of Queensland Forgan Smith Building, followed by an afternoon tea.

Emeritus Professor Trevor Bryce MA PhD DLitt (all Qld), FAHA, has held the positions of lecturer, senior lecturer, and reader in the University of Queensland, Professor of Classics and Ancient History in the University of New England, and Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Lincoln University, New Zealand.
He was awarded an Australian Centenary Medal for services to History. The author of twenty books (several co-authored) and about 130 articles and book chapters mainly on ancient Near Eastern history and civilization, he has also been a consultant for and participant in a number of television programs.
He has held Visiting Fellowships in the Institute of Advanced Study, Princeton, USA, Wolfson College, Oxford, the Australian National University, and Macquarie University.
